Following the success of last year’s Readaton, we plan to host another one from Friday, 30th September – Tuesday, 25th October. This initiative aims to motivate pupils to read as many books as possible, thus strengthening their reading ability. Participants may read on their own, in class, or with family or friends. Listening to someone else read or reading to someone else also counts towards the total number of books your child reads.

We understand that, as parents, you hold high expectations for the quality of education your child receives during the school day. By encouraging him/her to participate in the Readathon, you are expanding upon this learning and taking it into your home, increasing the school's effectiveness. As we all know, parents are their children's first and most important teachers. Your involvement in the Readathon will help your child develop a lasting love of reading.

We thank Natalie James Keenan for co-ordinating this initiative.
